Challenge rules

PropGo challenges are simulated trading evaluations on a managed demo account. Reaching a target sends the stage to review; an approved Stage 1 result unlocks Stage 2.

Profit target

The target is profit from closed trades only: unrealized P&L does not count. Spark and Boost currently require 12%; the other standard programs require 10%. Your exact percentage is shown before payment and locked onto the purchased challenge.

To enter review, the realized target must remain met, every position must be closed, every open order must be cancelled, and the minimum trading-day rule must be complete during an automated 40–120 minute confirmation window. Opening a position, leaving an open order, dropping below the realized target, or interrupting verified account data resets that window. Complete execution history is required. Reaching these conditions queues a manual review; it is not automatic approval.

Drawdown limits

  • Max daily drawdown — 3% of initial balance, trailing from the highest equity observed during the current UTC day. The intraday peak resets each UTC day.
  • Max overall drawdown — static from starting balance: 5% for Spark/Boost and 6% for the other standard programs.

Both rules use equity, including unrealized P&L. Falling below either floor ends the challenge. The stricter floor controls the room you actually have at that moment.

Minimum trading days

A UTC day counts when the verified execution ledger records at least one trade execution during that challenge stage. A position simply held across midnight does not add another trading day. Standard minimums are 3 days for Spark through Surge, 4 for Apex, and 5 for Titan.

Fair play

Balance manipulation, cross-account mirroring and bot abuse are prohibited. Verified drawdown and balance-manipulation evidence are checked automatically; other fair-play concerns require operator review. Trade your own account, by yourself.

Purchase cooling-off

After a challenge fails, new order and payment creation for the same account email pauses for 24 hours. This is a safety control against immediate loss-chasing; it does not change access to existing challenges. Signed-in users can also set a longer purchase pause from Account.

Stages

Stage 1 → manual review → Stage 2 → final review. Each evaluation stage gets a fresh demo account. A final approval status does not automatically create a reward record; see how rewards work. Use the drawdown calculator to model the published floors and the position size calculator for simple pre-fee linear sizing.
